Remote Desktop backslash backlash \
During the afternoon I has the need to open an RDP session from within an active RDP session (jumping). When doing the jump I found an interseting bug/feature, the backslash special character didn’t work. For all of you not using swedish keyboard layout, backslash is the combination of ALT GR + [the character to the right of zero]. This effectively hindered my from logging on. I tried every possible combination (at least felt like it) and found that CRTL + ALT GR + [the character to the right of zero] did result in a backslach. Thank you Microsoft! I guess that there is an logical explanation to this somewhere out there…

Remote Desktop on steroids
There is an open source project called Terminals that basically brings tabs to your remote desktop experience. I recommend it to everyone out there with an urge to keep multiple remote desktop sessions in parallell. A post describing the functionality of Terminals can be found here.
